Notting Hill Roof Terrace

This roof terrace project was a complex undertaking and required a lot of dialogue between the structural engineer and architect to ensure that the technical detail of the terrace was precisely delivered. Even the oak dining table was made bespoke to tie in with the planters. 

Roof terraces are often complex due to drainage and load bearing requirements and these were all factored in during the design stage. The project used a warm palette in the choice of materials and planting to suit the existing traditional red brick chimney. This traditional feature created a beautiful backdrop to the newly installed terrace. The client wanted the terrace to feel as if it had been there for years to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
