Fulham Roof Terrace

This roof terrace near the river was a large swathe of concrete slabs and felt quite exposed with no clearly designated spaces for entertaining or relaxing.

The design focused on bringing greenery around the edges of the terrace, with height created by planting mature evergreen trees throughout the terrace.

The planting design had to be resilient to deal with the typical conditions of a London roof terrace, sun, wind or rain are always present to some degree, so the planting had to be appropriately hardy. We focused on a palette of greens, purple and light blues in the planting design.
