Kensington
The brief for this garden was to create a family friendly space with a secret garden feel, existing trees were kept to maintain the sense of privacy whilst new pleached were added at the back and specimen fruit trees also added to give seasonality and greater vertical interest to the space along with some architectural looking tree ferns.
The planting is playful and naturalistic with topiary Ilex balls creating structure and looser woodland planting lines the perimeter. A fireplace creates a cosy area to relax in the evenings and a Corten steel water feature provides a focal point when looking out from the new extension, framed by elegant Crittall windows. There is a natural grass area for children to play and room for exploring!
