Bath Townhouse
This garden had previously been divided awkwardly with little else other than concrete flags and pea shingle gravel. The garden was un-even and lacking any planting at all.
The client wanted a complete re-design for this garden. The design uses a formal geometry for the layout with frothy planting creating an organic softening of these edges. The garden is narrow and therefore the space needed to be divided up into useable zones and then softened.
Corten steel elements are present throughout to compliment the limestone garden and house walls, this material sits comfortably alongside historic and weathered stone. The garden uses several feature trees to create height and form, acting as sculptural elements within the space.
